About Me

Hello, my name is Alma Tejeda. I am a psychotherapist and a proud Latina. Born and raised in Southern California, I am bilingual (Spanish/English) and a first-generation college graduate. I obtained my degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Later, I pursued my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pacific Oaks College, specializing in Latinx Family Systems. With over 6 years of experience in community mental health.

My expertise lies in working with First-Gen individuals who have experienced trauma, struggle with depression, anxiety, and/or face low self-esteem.
